The very genesis of life itself lies in the mysterious condensation of primordial heat that occurred in the vacuum of space eons ago. Certain molecules in the liquid gathered together in an attempt to become stable, in a uniform and repeating pattern, to form crystals. Out of the shadowy aether of this existential dread comes the latest release from Multifrequency Music: “Universal Crystal Light”. Courtesy of Danish producer Grandahl, these nine mind-altering electronic symphonies (plus a proper intro track to set the tone) are intricately designed to blast open the gateway to realms unseen. Utilizing a pulverizing bass, Grandahl evokes a deep meditative vibe against a backdrop of hidden horrors. Wicked synth melodies interact with traditional darkpsy elements in delicate intricacy, creating a profound journey across a spectrum of bpms, ranging from 145 to 160. Accompanying the dark and driving basslines are erie, atmospheric transmissions that melt in and out of harmonic coalescence, creating a miasma of spiraling psychedelic vibrations into the uncharted regions of inner space.
